  • Geared Up for Baseball

    Funded Jan 15, 2021

I want to sincerely thank you for your tremendous generosity. It is donations like yours that highlight the goodness that exist in our society. My students and myself greatly appreciate your investment in their social development. Athletics encourages students to work hard in the classroom, so they may play hard on the ball field. Playing baseball during a pandemic was different and some time difficult, but you donation gave us a few less things to worry about.

Your donation helped to keep our players safe during an unprecedent pandemic while they played the game of baseball. We were able provide each player with uniform socks minimize participation costs. Also, each player was issued a baseball tote to keep all of their equipment separated to decrease cross contamination. You also provided us a ice chest, so we could transport individual bottles of water instead of players sharing sport drinking bottles.

Thank you again for your support! We are eternally grateful!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V. Branch

  • Helping Eagles Soar!

    Funded Nov 24, 2019

I want to sincerely thank your for your tremendous generosity. It is donations like yours that highlight the goodness that exist in our society. My students and myself greatly appreciate your support in their academic and social development. Athletics encourages students to work hard in the classroom, so they may play hard on the ball field.

Your donation helped to provide needed equipment for my student athletes to compete in the game of baseball. We now have our own bats and do not have to borrow them anymore. We now have practice nets, reflex balls, and mitts that will allow us to practice in small spaces indoors or outdoors, since our baseball field is still under construction. The pitching machine provides us with a low cost way to fine tune our players' hitting skills by limiting our trips to batting cages.

Thank you again for your support! We are eternally grateful!”

    With gratitude,

  • Essential Tools for Learning in Social Studies

    Funded Oct 17, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting our project, Essential Tools for Learning in Social Studies. The item in this project are used regularly by myself and my students in facilitating their learning. The students were very excited to use the buzzers when playing games like Jeopardy and gave me a fun way for checking for understanding of key concepts.

The other technology equipment, including the monitor and the wireless keyboard and mouse have allowed me to maximize instruction time. The monitor provides me the opportunity to multi-task by completing lesson planning and research on multiple screens. Now it takes me less time to develop engaging lesson. The wireless keyboard and mouse give me the mobility to move around the room and still interact with my smart-board technology.

Your kindness and generosity is helping to make my classroom a more engaging environment for my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V. Branch

  • Homeruns after Harvey

    Funded Nov 20, 2017

We graciously thank you for your donation and support this season. We have been able to successfully practice and accomplish all that we have set to do with the equipment donated for our team. We use the softball bags daily at practice and game time. They allow the players to keep their personal equipment organized and secure. The athletic sock saved my players parents money and completed our uniforms. We use the pitching often in practice and the face mask have protected our pitchers on the mound. In the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, your generosity relieved some of the financial burden for our school and parents. Without the equipment we would be unprepared and unable to practice on skill sets we need to keep up with the demands on the court. Again, we thank you for your donations and supporting us in becoming the District 23 4-A Champions!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V. Branch

  • Technology in US History to Document Learning

    Funded Oct 2, 2017

My students and I have really enjoyed our classroom supplies. We have been using the items regularly and it has really enhanced our learning environment and off campus historical adventures. We use the laminators often for class projects and activities. The camera and printer paper allows up to capture and print high quality photos that students can share with their peers and family. I am so proud that when we have visitors to our classroom, they can view pictures of our students learning history outside of the classroom. I can not say thank you enough for your generosity and constant support to make sure our future leaders have what they often are not afforded in low socioeconomic areas. Thank you again and may God continue to bless you for being a blessing to others.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V. Branch

  • Stocking up for History!

    Funded Jun 12, 2017

Thank you very much for your most generous donation to my classroom. The supplies you donated to us have helped us keep our class room clean, be organized and extend our learning. The dry erase map has been especially helpful in provided students a physical reference for world events and locations. Students are able to physically interact with their lesson. The cleaning wipes allow us to clean up the maps after use and also keep our desk areas clean of germs. We use the dry erase markers to make graphical references on the maps. Lastly, the hole-punch and flash drive help us keep our paper and digital resources organized.

Thank you again for thinking up and providing us additional supplies to support our classroom learning experiences!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V. Branch

  • Technology in Social Studies to differentiate instruction.

    Funded Oct 23, 2015

My 8th Grade U.S. History class and I would like to thank you for your awesome donations. We will use them enhance our learning experience! My students were eager and ready to learn what makes America so great using their new devices! They are very curious and your technological gift will help me expand their horizons.

The access to technology is enhancing my possibilities to teach my students the skills and strategies used in a 21st Century classroom. We use the devices to do small group stations in our classroom. They are able to access videos, academic apps and websites, current news websites, and more! This access to the technology will be beneficial in keeping them engaged and hungry for more knowledge!

Most of my eighth graders live in a low socioeconomic area with 100% receiving free or reduced- priced lunch. A large percentage of our population is considered homeless population also. Since the large majority of them not have technology at home, your give allow them to keep up with their peers. The students in particular were really excited to have the devices available to use in class.

Thank you again for helping me broaden the minds of my students and engaged in the study of America's history.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. V. Branch

My students are from an inner city school which is Title I. They attend a school where 100% of the students are on free lunch and 40% of the students are homeless. My students are eager to learn and if we make learning more interactive students can increase their knowledge of social studies.
