Last year, we were fortunate enough to get 1 to 1 Chromebooks for our students. This gave my students a great opportunity to be able to access the digital world that had previously been closed to them. I ran into a problem however when my students were using sites like Khan Academy. When several students wanted to watch a video to learn or reinforce a topic, the sound from all of the competing videos would become a huge disruption to others in the class. Headphones would allow my students to fully explore the internet without disrupting their fellow students working on other projects.
