• Chromebooks for Needy Classmates

  I would like to thank everyone for your generous contributions. My students are excited to have brand new Chromebooks to start our new school year. Through your contribution, you have helped my students have access to engaging interactive reading and mathematics activities that match to their individual learning needs. My classroom is a second home to a group of enthusiastic scholars that love learning. They are also a resourceful group of students that enjoy using technology to carry out research on topics of their interest. Technology is a vital tool to their academic growth and we are all excited to see them maximize their potential.

  Without your support, my students would not have the opportunity to have these valuable resources in their hands. In a time when we see many budget restrictions that effect our schools, it is heart warming to know there are donors like you that help ensure our students still receive the necessary materials they deserve. These Chromebooks will provide important practice in reading, math, and word processing skills. The Chromebooks will give my students access to Google Suite apps, including Google docs and Google slides. I am excited to see my students present their thinking using these programs.

• Help Put Resources in My Students' Hands!

  The scholars in my class are greatly enthusiastic about reading and learning. Without your help my students would not have access to the reading and math resources available to them. With the current budget cuts many of our schools are facing, it is uplifting to know there are generous individuals like you to help ensure our students are equipped with the necessary materials that can reach students with different learning styles.

  I want to thank everyone for your wonderful contributions to this project. The printer toner you and DonorsChoose.org donated to my classroom have helped my students engage in small group and independent reading activities that are matched to their appropriate reading level. Many of my students have become more resourceful and independent in the classroom and have learned how to find reading material that is engaging and supportive of classroom concepts.

Many of my students have become more resourceful and independent in the classroom and have learned what a vital tool technology can be.
