One Student At A Time
Funded Nov 30, 2022Thank you for the donation to help with classroom supplies, teaching in a low-income area in WV were students face a difficult time affording to buy the basic school supplies needed for the classroom. The items that have been provided have already made an impact in the classroom fostering academic achievement. The supplies have helped make each of my students' day more productive because the supplies have been able to meet their school needs for daily classroom activities, learning objectives and building confidence
The Classroom timer has been a huge success in the classroom, students enjoy a visual reminder of how much time they have to complete a set task, unto moving to the next activity. The Printer / Scanner has completely changed the classroom, I am now able to print copies instantly instead of having to go to the office when I am free.
When I opened the box of colored pencils one student, was shocked and said "whoever sent these must know were running low on colorful colors" My students have enjoyed using the colored pencils to create projects on the unit we have been studying on
Once again A huge THANK YOU, for your support and donations. The supplies will be used to foster educational growth in the classroom. Thank you!”
With gratitude,
Mr. S.

Funded Jun 8, 2022Huge Thank you for the classroom donations and supplies. My students are enjoying using the supplies and love the countdown clock. The countdown large display clock has been a very beneficial tool to remind students how much time they have until we move on to the next activity, some students are using it as a reminder not to waste the classroom time. When we received the materials, my classroom was curious what was in the box, I had them open it up and then allowed them to provide ideas on the best ways we can utilize the materials, their ideas allowed to have ownership of how the classroom can play out the rest of the year. Once again THANK YOU , THANK YOU , THANK YOU”

Mr. S.

Funded Oct 22, 2020Thank you for the donation, the supplies were needed to help the classroom foster a clean, positive leaning environment that encourages students to thrive and achieve to the best of their ability. My students will be able to complete various projects with the supplies.
When the box's showed up at my door my students, immediately asking what was in it. I took my time and opened the box in front of them and took out all the supplies. Once everything was out of the box, I told them this is for all you. They were so glad to see classroom supplies, that they will be able to use this year. As an additional bonus the cleaning supplies will be helpful during this covid-19 hybrid classroom, One student was shocked at the huge box of paper towels saying "covid cleaner to the rescue"
I informed my students that not only do I believe in them but also others believe in them and want them to achieve to their full potential. Most student were eager to be able to have materials that can be used and not having to purchase materials or borrow from a friend.
With students eager to learn they already want to show off their skills and are proud when their work gets displayed on the "Wall of Success" Students are currently working on a country profile project and sharing information with classmates. I have even caught my students discussing the material not only in class but also on their own time, because they are proud of their work.
Once again -- Thanks!”

When the box showed up at my door my students had curiosity, immediately asking what was in it. I took my time and opened the box in front of them and took out all the supplies. Once everything was out of the box I told them this is for all you. They were so glad to see classroom supplies, we had a brainstorm session on how we could use all the materials this school year. The ideas ranged from homework, class projects, posters, displaying information, and study help.
I informed my students that not only do I believe in them but also others believe in them and want them to achieve to their full potential. One student smiled and said, "if they already believe in me and I never met them then I better believe in myself."
