These method books will be used daily in class to teach kids the fundamentals of playing their instrument. Our guitar and ukulele programs fill the gap that Band/Choir/Orchestra classes leave of kids who love music, but still feel like outsiders when it comes to playing it in school. Kids who gravitate toward guitar/ukulele in high school often have no experience with playing music while they were in earlier grades. These are typically the kids who didn't take any music classes in Middle School. So it’s important give them curriculum that both challenges their skills and also explains the basics of music theory. In a classroom setting, these books help guide kids through starting to read notes and tablature as well as teach basic playing techniques.
