Our school has a high poverty rate of 91.2%. We are also one of the schools that students may have a parent in the local prison. I am providing an after school activity to raise team building, leadership skills, writing, and STEM awareness through the Robotics Club. We currently improving in those areas through competition. We are seeking an additional robot kit so we can have additional students compete.
