We will use these materials to create authentic museum exhibits about specific Native American tribes. The exhibits will showcase the past, present, and future of the tribes the students select for their project.
Materials such as shaping clay and trifold boards will be used to create museum exhibits that showcase how European colonization affected specific Native American tribes. The clay will be used to recreate artifacts that help to tell the history of the specific tribe. Students can create artifacts like model canoes, homes, and much more. The students could then use the paint to bring the artifacts to life.
The trifold and poster boards will be used to help organize information about the tribe. Students will need to showcase the past and present of the tribes.
