My students are a wonderful group of students who are diverse in every way possible. The grade that I teach has 120 students, including a fairly high amount of ESL students. The area also has many students who have free or reduced lunches. Despite the inherit challenges that many of the students face, these students often face it head on and seek to improve not only themselves but the community around them. I also volunteer my time after school to work with an enrichment program with some of the school's 5th and 6th graders working with Lego Robotics. We have teams that compete in the global FLL tournaments with other schools. Through my team's diligent efforts, they managed to win and secure spots for the state competition! I am so proud of my students and hope that they never cease to amaze me!
