I teach 7th, 8th, and 9th grade English/Language Arts at an urban charter school in Indiana. I have classes of 25 or less, so we spend a lot of time discussing the texts we read. Students are required to read at least four novels each semester as a part of my curriculum. Therefore, we spend a lot of time in class reading. My students' curiosity is infectious and their energy is constant. They all have the ability to achieve at a high level.
