• STEAMing Flocabulary

  There are not enough words for me to express how grateful I am for your kindness in providing the funds for us to be able to access this incredible educational resource. My students can not get enough of the amazing videos on Flocabulary. This website has been instrumental in getting my students excited about learning. The songs' lyrics are so catchy. Some of my students used to complain so much when using other websites. Now, instead of complaining, some of them ask me to play the same video every day. I have a student that became a bit obsessed with the 2021 year in rap video. Unfortunately, that video is not available any longer. The videos about the week in news are really informative. I have to say that, much like my students, I enjoy the videos as well. It excites me to be able to teach them material that would otherwise be dull and boring. Since excitement is contagious, I end up influencing them in a positive way. This website has been beneficial in so many ways. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your help. We appreciate what you did for our classroom.”

There are times in which they have had to troubleshoot why a design has not worked correctly. They then make tweaks and are able to make the design work properly. It is so beautiful to be able to see a gleam in their eyes as they are able to appreciate their own skills. Thank you for making this project possible.”

We are not deserving of your help, but appreciate it immensely. You made available a tool that would never have become feasible otherwise. Thanks to your generous donation, my students now have an creative outlet. Their creativity is going to go beyond the classroom, literally. Twice a month, we go into the community and learn practical skills. On this day, they will alternate taking photographs of their environment. We will then return to school, download the pictures, critique, and occasionally give suggestions for improvement.”
