This will be my first year as a full time teacher, with that, I am starting off the year with the bare minimum. However, I do not want that to impact my students. I want my scholars to be set up for success. No student's learning should be affected because there are not enough pencils or other basic supplies for them to use. I believe all students should have access to a classroom library with materials that will intrigue them to indulge in reading. I have requested for a variety of books to attract my scholars to find reading enjoyable. For this project I am requesting various sets of books that will motivate my scholars to enjoy reading. I have also asked for sets of markers to help with anchor charts and classroom visuals/resources for students to reference throughout the year. Many supplies, such as scissors and glue, are to ensure that my students have a successful beginning to the school year.
