I work with about 50 identified gifted students in grades K-5. We are a small school that lives up to its name of being "pleasant." My students are problem solvers! They love to work on engineering design challenges, STEM projects, and any activities that involve critical thinking skills. As their teacher, I am challenged to create a real-world learning environment that fosters higher-order thinking, collaboration, communication, and teamwork. We have a supportive community and strive to provide as many diverse learning opportunities for our students as we can.
