In teaching summer school this year, we got a preview of what we can expect in September with schools beginning to hesitantly reopen. We expect to have a hybrid model, wherein we will provide classroom instruction both to students that are present and students that are learning remotely. One aspect of this type of teaching is that in order to help students in one realm, the teacher leaves the other realm. With ambient mode, students will benefit from getting the teacher's full attention no matter which class they are in. I am requesting wireless earbuds and a bluetooth adapter, which will help bridge the gap between in-person and remote learning. This technology will be utilized while providing live instruction via Google Classroom. Teachers are being charged with preparing for full-time in-person instruction, hybrid teaching, and remote learning. With these technological enhancements, my students will be able to understand content material clearly, regardless of the environment. Thank you so much for reading my project proposal. No matter what the obstacles, we plan on having a productive school year. I refuse to let the current state of affairs impede the educational outcomes for my special needs students.
