  • Let's Breathe and Communicate with our Peers

    Funded Jan 22, 2025

Thank you all for your support. We really appreciate your dedication to our classroom. The boys and girls have really been enjoying the Indestructible pots & pans while playing in the Dramatic Play area. They have been using a lot of new vocabulary as they have been creating their own food.

The boys and girls also have really loved playing with the penguin ice blocks during center time. I have heard a lot of talk about the stability of the ice structures that they are creating.

Thank you again. We have really enjoyed all of our new goodies!”

  • We Need More Flexible Seating

    Funded Aug 22, 2024

Thank you for making this project come to life in our classroom. All too often it is a struggle to get some students to complete work or stay focused on their activities. With these wobble chairs have been a great alternative to the traditional chairs in the busy Transitional Kindergarten classroom. The boys and girls really have been using these chairs to stay focused on their tasks as well as have an opportunity to move around without getting distracted. I have noticed that while the students are sitting on the carpet, during whole group time, they are quieter and more attentive. They know that when I call the quietest students they are the first to go to a work area and they want to be able to be called first so that they can get a wobble chair. Thank you again!”

  • Manipulative Play Using Light and Exploration

    Funded Apr 30, 2024

Thank you for helping our classroom bring this light center and manipulative into our classroom. The boys and girls have been able to enhance their Math, Language, and Science skills through the use of this fun and interactive light center. They enjoy counting and identifying their letters while using and making very interesting color combinations.

It is very exciting to watch the students build their skills while working cooperatively. The boys and girls have been using this center as a way to broaden their pre-writing skills as well as building their fine motor skills. We truly appreciate your dedication to our classroom.”

  • Sensory Tiles To Help Calm Us Down

    Funded Jul 20, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations. This project My students love the sensory tiles and use them all the time. Sometimes they go there just to walk across to get some sensory between activities. Other times they sit on them and use their hands with different amounts of pressure to push and pull the liquid across the tiles. They love creating calming patterns of color. It is quite calming and gives students sensory opportunities to help them stay focused during lessons. These liquid floor tiles are mesmerizing to watch the colors seep and swirl. Thank you again for making this project a reality.”

  • Coding with Bee-Bots

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you so much for making this project come to life for my classroom. The boys and girls were super excited to unbox the Bee-Bots. These fun coding robot bees are a great way for young kids to practicing counting, sequencing, problem solving, and directionality.

The boys and girls worked together for their first experience with the Bee-Bots to take turns programing the Bee-Bots to move from one point to the other. With each turn the boys and girls worked to make sure their bots moved across their groups paper. After they took turns punching in the code and their bot got across the paper, they drew a map. Thank you for helping my students get excited in STEM and allowing them to create programs with sequences. This is going to be an exciting addition to our class.”

  • Bring On The Outdoor Learning

    Funded May 11, 2024

Thank you for helping our class complete this fun and exciting project. The boys and girls were so excited when I told them that the boxes arrived that I had students wanting to go with me to the office to collect the boxes. They waited and watched on the carpet as we unpacked the boxes and wanted to take the Tetherball Tennis Game and Scooter Boards outside right away.

The boys and girls wanted to go outside right away. During our outdoor time they only wanted to play with these activities and they had such a fun time. We have used these tools everyday and it is has been great to be able to work on fine motor, gross motor, and crossing the mid-line activities. Thank you so much for helping my students to build their core”

  • Science Viewers To Open The World of TK Science

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you for helping my students be able to bring these Science Viewers into the classroom. They are so excited to visit the center now. Each time I walk past the center I hear the students interacting with each other and sharing with their what they are seeing in the viewers. I hear them pointing out details and characteristics of the objects they see.

There is a great deal of new interactions taking place since the introduction of the Science Viewers. I have noticed students working together and building vocabulary. Thank you so much for making this project become a reality.”

  • A Soft Spot to Learn

    Funded Apr 29, 2024

The boys and girls were very excited when I unpacked the box with the carpet circles. They were eager to be able to use them. We immediately used the carpet circles while reading a story outside underneath a tree. These carpet circles will allow us to have story time and lessons outside, now that we have a soft place for each child to sit during these activities.

Our class will also use them for outdoor assemblies instead of sitting on an old blanket. We were able to try these out during a rehearsal for an upcoming school-wide assembly. These carpet circles are very easy to bring out to the school's quad area. This will certainly be a lot easier for the boys and girls to handle. Thank you so much for your interest and participation in this project and helping our class be able to access our learning in the outdoors.”

  • A 4-Sided Doll House to Encourage Cooperative Play

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity you gave our classroom with your generous donations. The boys and girls were super excited when the huge box arrived. We had a big reveal and everyone clapped and cheered.

Everyday there is excitement to see who gets to play with the playhouse. It is a great activity where I have seen so many wonderful and rich conversations take place. The cooperation has improved between the students and they are working together to act out scenes and situations. This really has been a wonderful addition to our classroom.

Everyone in our class truly appreciates you and the donations that helped bring this playhouse to our classroom.”

  • An Organized Classroom Promotes Exploratory Learning

    Funded Aug 3, 2023

I want to thank each and every one who donated to this project. The boys and girls jumped up and down with excitement when the shelf arrived. We now have a place to store all of our activities and manipulatives in clear containers. This allows the boys and girls to be able to go to the bookshelf and choose activities that interest them all by themselves. The bookshelf and system we have in place now has really streamlined the process of choosing activities and gives the boys and girls a sense of independence. Thank you so much for your support and helping our class reach this goal.”
