Science is supposed to be fun and exciting, which is the key to engagement and success. My scholars have the desire, the creativity, and the relentless motivation to learn and go far beyond anyone's expectations. I want to pave any road ahead of them to assist in their achievements. Having interactive science equipment such as microscopes, weather stations, rocket launchers, and document cameras, allows an opportunity for my scholars to experience real world hands-on learning, that will no doubt create memories and experiences that will drive them to succeed now, and in the future. My scholars will experience reading a real weather station while making inferences and predictions. They will get to view actual plant and animal cells, and develop an understanding of the similarities and differences. They will get to build rockets and launch them into the air to understand Newton's Laws of Motion much clearer. And they will also get the opportunity to share their findings using a document camera where they can present and share with the entire class without distractions. This project will not only reach those scholars that will be present inside the classroom, but they will also be used to foster learning for those scholars learning from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is important that ALL of my scholars experience science the way it is intended: hands-on, engaging, real world, and creativity, that ensures them 21st century learning and success.
