  • Hands On Science Is Best

    Funded Nov 30, 2024

On behalf of my students, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of science materials. Your support has provided our students with hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of scientific concepts. With these resources, our classrooms have become more engaging, allowing students to explore, experiment, and develop a love for discovery that will benefit them for years to come.

Your kindness and generosity make a lasting impact on our students' education and future. Because of your contribution, we can offer richer learning opportunities that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Thank you for investing in the next generation of scientists, innovators, and lifelong learners. We truly appreciate your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Griffin

  • Technology Enhancement

    Funded Jan 31, 2022

Thank you so much for the great gift! I upload photos that I take in the classroom while my students learn, and they love seeing their faces pop up on the Echo Show. It is large enough for them to see the images on it from the back of the room. I also use it to play music during independent practice. It helps them focus on the task at hand. It works great as a timer, and I can easily give students an update on how much time is left by simply asking Alexa.

Thanks again and I know my students will enjoy this gift for years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Griffin

The reason why I requested these items is because I want to give my students more opportunities to learn through small groups. The easel is helpful because it's small and will allow me to show students various math concepts in a small group without have a large whiteboard taking up too much space. The printer is for me to be able to print color books for students for teaching in small groups. When I teach small groups, I prefer to not have technology in front of them in order for them to focus more. If a book is in color, they tend to appreciate it more, and it makes it feel more special for them. Students love things printing in color. It makes them more exited about reading and learning. The chart paper is something I use all the time to leave up various science concepts in the room, reading strategies and examples of word problems being solved.
