My students are faced with many challenges daily. Students in my special education class come from impoverished homes where both parents work two jobs. For most of my students, English is not their first language. My students have mild to moderate disabilities ranging from Autism to Dyslexia. Even though they struggle to learn how to read and writing, these hard working students never give up. I feel it is important to bring new technology and effective materials into my classroom to help these student overcome their disabilities and reach their goals. Please help me in making my classroom a rich learning environment.
