As an older sibling to two brothers with autism, I have an intimate understanding of the challenges denying students with disabilities the education they deserve. My 4th and 5th grade students are just beginning to learn about immigration, indigenous populations, and the complexities of fractions. Learning materials will certainly help them along this academic journey. This support will not only help them during this year, but also is critical in their identity development as change agents.
