We are a small school in the farming community of Linden, just east of Stockton. We do art and ceramic in what used to be a bus depot surrounded by cherry and walnut orchards. A once proud program for over 30 years suffered a teaching shuffle and went in decline. It has been my goal since I was hired 2 years ago to get pride back into the program and take the visual arts to a level not seem before at LHS. The community has some amazing youth that deserve an advocate and mentor. I plan to do all I can to help these students blossom into confidence, capable citizens with an understanding for art.
