These supplies will help the students to demonstrate their knowledge, be able to take effective notes in a notebook, file away completed study guides in folders and complete everyday school tasks. Things like cutting, sorting, and gluing are impossible with out the scissors and glue. Maintaining an organized work space and keeping papers organized with paper clips and binder clips is another important skill for the students to learn. Having a pencil sharpener and pencils so that the students can have the m Our school is a STEM school and utilizing science notebooks the way that scientist do is a valuable skill for our students to learn. In addition, the students in my self-contained class have a difficult time expressing themselves with words. Therefore, having crayons, markers and colored pencils for them to draw what they know is extremely beneficial. In addition, things such as coloring, cutting, and gluing helps the students to regulate their emotions. The students would be so grateful!
