Making music is an important part of a quality music education. Students build skills they can use in and out the classroom through playing and caring for an instrument. They learn a sense of responsible and how to work with others to create beautiful music. I am hoping with your help I can provide students' in third, fourth and fifth grades the opportunity to learn the recorder and ukulele. These instruments will give students the opportunity to further their knowledge of music and learn essential performance skills. It is proven that playing an instrument helps students to make academic gains, as well. These instruments will provide a deserving group of kids with an opportunity to make music that they may get no where else.

About my class
