My students all have multiple learning abilities; some are English Language Learners, some are Special Education students. One of the ways in which I am most effective teaching is by offering my students differentiated materials like graphic novels. This material allows all students to become active participants while reinforcing difficult concepts that will make them life long learners. Using a graphic novel will give my students the ability to engage in the learning better and have a level playing field to learning difficult literature. This will also give my students the ability to find new passion in reading and hopefully become avid lifetime readers.
