My fourth and Fifth graders get excited to work on the rug. We do so many learning activities on our classroom rug that it needs to be nice and clean. We engage in writers workshop, independent reading, small group instruction and mathematical concept review. Keeping our classroom and our rug clean is a priority. Having a clean rug and classroom sets the bar for meaningful learning! Not only will the carpet area be inviting, it will allow my students to feel comfortable, focus and eager to learn. A vacuum will help keep our classroom and rug nice and clean. My students will be ready to engage in learning in a clean environment!
