I have inherited a new classroom at a new school and unfortunately was not passed down any books in the process. I am hoping to build a new classroom library so that I can ensure that my students have grade-level, engaging, reading materials throughout the school year. The classroom library is something my students will always have access to in order to help them foster a love of reading, especially reading for pleasure. I would also like to use the Scholastic News magazine in my classroom to help students learn about current events and to help them build their reading/conversational skills about important topics.
