My students are sweet children and are awesome! Many of them come from single parent families, live in apartments and are economically disadvantaged. My students' parents unfortunately do not value education and it is very heartbreaking. This year, I have even had parents ask me to send home their school supplies as they do not even have a pencil at home for homework. Our school is a primary school and we have students ranging from Pre-K to 2nd grade.
