• Lighting It Up

  Funding our DonorsChoose project for upgraded photography lighting has profoundly transformed our program, elevating both the quality of our students' work and their overall learning experience.

  The new lighting equipment has significantly enhanced the clarity and professionalism of our students' photographs. By providing consistent, high-quality lighting, students can produce more vibrant, well-lit images, which is crucial for learning and showcasing their skills effectively.

• Telling Our Truth

  It has been great to have the Mac Mini in our classroom. In all honestly, it has helped tremendously this year in helping us to complete many of our goals. The kids have taken to the new computer, especially as it is much faster than we had before. The amount of time they have been able to cut in their editing has allowed them to pursue more projects and do more of what they love. The students are genuinely excited to come in and work, and thanks to this computer, they can do just that. Thank you all for your support!”

• Setting the Scenes

  Thank you again for your donations and efforts in helping our program. It was the perfect gift to give to our students. We've already begun to use the equipment and created some great things with the donated items. The photo studio has been a huge help to the development of our programs. So far, we've done a photoshoot for the varsity baseball team and that was able to help them out as they didn't have to go elsewhere and pay for what they needed. The students are thrilled to work with these goods and we're truly grateful for your support!”

• Snapping Up and Sharing Our Stories

  Thank you so much for you generous gift to my classroom! I cannot begin to state how much of an impact that this will have on my students.

  The new camera has already paid off with my students, as we were able to take photographs at our homecoming football game as well as of each of the homecoming court members!

  Thanks to your generosity, my students will be able to make great strides in trying to express themselves. They're already asking to go out and take photos of events so that they document everything that happens this year. • Enabling Students to Tell Their Stories

  I would first of all like to say thank you for all that you've done for my classroom. The laptop has been a tremendous improvement to our abilities to create. This new class technology has been great in allowing us to quickly create, edit, and share our stories with our community. It is amazing how such a small addition has allowed us to really improve in what we have wanted to accomplish this year. • Taking Debate to 2.0

  I would like to thank you for your continued support of my classroom. The laptops were a great addition to our program, allowing us to truly compete this past year. It was an amazing year and it was through your generosity that it was able to happen. As for our results, we were once again able to qualify for the state championships in debate. While we may not have had the finish at the tournament that we wanted, it was an accomplishment to make it as far as we had. • Creating Meaningful Dialogues and Debate

  I would like to thank you tremendously for what you have done for my students. Thanks to your efforts, my students are now able to research and compete with the technology necessary to compete at the top level of debate.

  What they are most excited about is being able to take their new laptops to tournaments, not to mention being able to create podcasts for their US History class. It's incredible to see how they have taken ownership of creating these projects!

  Lastly, what I've loved the most is seeing one of my students really take a shine to wanting to do the podcasts. She is usually shy, but she really is excited to start. It's great to see a student really warm and open up to her classmates.

• Protecting the Present for the Future

  I would like to thank you personally for the impact that you have made in our classroom. with the addition of the new camera and lenses, my students have been able to go further into the field and expand their already great projects.

  As our school uses project-based learning, it was absolutely vital for us to get in these supplies for the classroom. More kids are taking a vested interest in the projects that we are doing in class, and thus in turn, becoming more active and engaged citizens as we try to do something great in protecting the earth.
