In Classroom Printing
Funded Dec 28, 2022Having a printer once again in my trailer has been a God send. It allows me to meet student needs without having to leave the classroom. I am confronted daily with the need to leave the trailer between classes to pick up items from a printer in the building. Even with my best planning my supply of items run out and this allows me to print on the spot for a student. It helps to make my classroom more self-sufficient which is great because we are a detached classroom, and the amenities other teachers have in the building that are a few steps away are now also a few steps away for my classroom. It also has an added benefit. I have ink to print in color which can really help students understand maps, graphs, and charts we often use in history classes. Thank-you again for this important tool.”

Funded Jan 3, 2020The table has provided a level flat workspace for the students. It has eliminated the desks for this group and created a more welcoming flexible space. We have used the table every day since it arrived. We have done work on maps, book creation, video planning.
It is also a great sitting space for the everyday class. It allows me to position the student so they can better see the screen when viewing notes, videos, images etc. It provides a clearer line of sight for all the students sitting there. Finally, it allows me the flexibility to reconfigure the room easily. It has made my trailer even more warm and comfortable.
This was a very valuable addition to my classroom. I am very grateful to have received it and very sad that I did not get to use it until the end of the school year.”

Weather Free Hydration!
Funded May 13, 2019I am in a very hot and humid part of the country which also gets snow! In the fall and spring it is often in the high 80's and low 90's. In the winter it can get well below freezing. Also it now rains a great deal, for days at a time and often hard. The cooler allows students who just want a drink of cold water to get on without having to go out in the rain snow or boiling hot weather to walk to the main building to get water. Students have really appreciated this. Also it allows the to keep up and hydrate at the same time!”

Funded Dec 27, 2018Again thank you so very much. The TV has given this 36-year-old trailer new life. I was able to remove several cords under gaffers' tape from the floor and there is nothing for students or me to trip over any more. The picture is clear and with the stand I purchased to go with it, I can move it around the room as needed there are really no students can see it from every angle. It functions well as a presentation display and I can use it for every purpose that the projector was used for without the wires everywhere. The students and I are universally pleased with the improvement. The additional floor space has made the trailer more navigable. I am especially grateful because I never thought that I would get funded!”
