    Ever since receiving an additional iPad for my classroom last year, my reading and math groups have utilized a variety of learning resources on a regular basis.

    Interactive programs such as Nearpod, Kahoot, Quizizz, Reading A-Z, NewslELA, IXL, Khan Academy and Google Classroom provide my students with learning experiences that emphasize consistent collaboration, opportunities for independent and partner investigations, and an overall enjoyable classroom environment.

  • Technology in the Classroom

    My students have spent the past few months taking advantage of the materials purchased through Donorschoose by incorporating video presentations, reports, and activities into regular classroom assignments. The lavaliere microphones have enhanced the audio experience, while the tripod cases have provided us with a stable recording environment.

    My students love the fact that they are able to produce professional style videos without having to leave the classroom. Thanks to Donorschoose and the individuals that donated the funds, we are the only classroom in our school that is technologically equipped with these materials.”

    The binding machine that was purchased helped provide my students with a tool that motivated them to strengthen their writing skills on a daily basis. With the professional results of a binding machine, my students are able to present their writing compositions in a bounded-book format, similar to books that you would find in a bookstore or library.
