First Year Teacher Basic Needs

Thank you so much for funding our classroom Donors Choose project! My kiddos were excited enough when they found out our project had been funded, but they were over the moon when we actually received our materials.

We have enjoyed doing all our NASA-inspired science and social studies experiments and projects with our play-dough and clipboards. Any classroom activity that gets us out of our seats are things that help the students better apply the things they are learning to real life, which helps them understand the concepts better. I'm extremely proud to say that my class had higher test scores on our district's six weeks tests because of these projects. More teachers have asked to join our class or watch when we do projects to help them teach the same concepts to the kids.

Thank you very much for believing in me as a teacher and believing in my class. We appreciate you taking your time to find our project and that you chose our class to donate your hard earned money to in order to get us resources we need in our classroom. We cannot thank you enough!”
