• Bringing Our Community to Life Through the Arts

  It is with great graditude that I say thank you, my students have been enjoying the materials that you so kindly donated. They love the art materials and like wearing their smocks as they paint and use the easel and now hey have enough paint brushed for all to use and not having to wait until one is available. My students also enjoy working in the block area and build a structure where they are now able to use the new set of cars and people to "walk" around their city. The students are also enjoying learning how to count by using the counting knobs.

  I could go on and on expressing how much the children enjoy all these educational materials that you so kindly donated. My students as they walk in they get busy working either with the counting materials, puzzles. When it is work time, those students that work at the house area pretending to be a doctor. Overall they just enjoy having a great time learning through play as they work alongside each other as they enhance their developmental skills.”

• Our Journey Through Literacy

  Words can not express the joy my students had when they entered my classroom and experienced how comfortably they were able to sit on a well paded seat as they gathered for the morning routine. They enjoyed the magenitc puzzles as other materials that you so kindly provided to allow their individual activity to become more interesting. Filled with educational materials that allowed fun time learning, they participated in Rhyme Awareness, Shared Reading as well as other materials you so kindly provided. They enjoyed the process of collaboration and creation as they practiced their social skills. My students I are extremely grateful for your generosity! • Engineers Of The Future

  Our children expressed excitement and couldn't wait for the boxes to be opened and begin use the materials. Once they began using the materials, our little engineers eagerly expreesed their ideas and imagination. As they interacted with each other and created various structures, new ideas emerged and more complex and different structures were made. Our future engineers and I thank you for all that you do. Our little ones are having fun learning, working together, helping each other as they continue to build structures and relationships.”

• Closing the Gaps and Reaching New Heights

  The children come in excited everyday ready to learn and interact with their materials. They look forward to use their laptops and take turns practicing their alphabet and numbers. They also help each other as they change software into one that it's interactive and pertains to reading. Without a doubt the supplies that you generously give to my students benefit them and facilitate learning by making it fun and interactive. • Capturing Every Moment While Reaching New Heights

  The students enjoy their lap tops, headphones and instant camera as well as other materials that you have generously donated. Throughout the school day, the children choose the lap top to practice and learn their letters as well as other educational software which brightens the joy of learning. Through these supplies, our little ones embrace the true meaning of a school family as they work together and share the materials amongst each other. Every day the children come in with a smile and are anxious to explore and learn new things. Thanks to your generosity, our children's future looks brighter.”

• Reaching New Heights and Embracing the Future With Technology

  My students and I appreciate all that you do to make their learning attainable. Through the use of the two Chrome Books and Headphones they have been able to access Waterford Smart Start and learn alongside their peers. Allowing students with disabilities access technology and be able to use Waterford as well as other educational software, has helped close the gaps early and help them get ready for Kindergarten. Having the students use technology allows them to embrace the wonderful world of the future, today. I am extremely grateful to our donors for they have made a huge impact in our classroom. The students are happy and look forward to their turn in accessing the "computer" as they call it.”

• Building Bridges Today for a Better Future

  I would like to take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of my students. Being able to do the activities as planned using the activity book has encouraged my students to embrace learning and cooperation to achieve a common goal while enhancing their social skills. Our printer help us capture progress and report to their parents as well as capture memories which will be treasured throughout the years. As you can see the Abacus has sparked curiosity in counting as well as adding. Our visual timer has been used to track when we must switch between activities, take turns and also helps our children calm down. I am truly grateful for your kindness and support.”

• Embracing the World Through I-Pad

  Funded Dec 5, 2013

  My students received the iPad with great enthusiasm. They embraced it and began using it to name colors, shapes and identify opposites. I used it as a supplement during our phonological awareness time. The students also shared the iPads and took turns looking at stories that show good manners.

  The overall impact these iPads have brought to my teaching has been immeasurable. I can clearly see how students give their undivided attention as they embrace technology by using the iPad to trace letters and create patterns.The iPad is a great tool to have.

  We are very thankful for your donation and you can see how enthused the students are as you look through the pictures. They are fully engaged. One can definitely say they are embracing the world through the iPad.”
