• Building Structures

  Funded May 8, 2024

  During our planning time when my students are asked which area they will like to work at, my students enthusiastically reply they want to work in the block area because they wan to build. They joyfully say what kind of structure they plan to make with their peers and proceed to the area. My students will illustrate, make a plan and begin to work.

  It is through your contribution that my students are learning to work together using the same materials sharing ideas and creating. Every structure that is made is carefully built using math, spatial sense, language, engineering, collaboration, which enhances their social skills.

  Using a variety of learning experiences through play promotes learning and self regulation, they come up with new ideas to improve their structures and make them sturdy so they wont fall, create stories using a variety of animals, people, cars etc. Their imagination and creativity is endless. My students are thankful for your generosity.”

• Creative Expression Through Art

  I would like to thank you for your generosity and contribution towards my students.

  My students enjoy using art materials and enhancing their creativity. Such materials are fun and provide a positive environment as they learn to use their imagination and bring their thoughts to life. We have seen overall improvement with their fine motor skills, presentation skills by seeing their illustrations and how they proudly present them to their peers.

  By using these materials my students paint, draw, glue and create. They have learned to interact and explain what their drawing is and exchange ideas to add to their illustrations. At times they have shared their each other's illustration and have given new ideas to their peers as they added drawings to their illustrations. Over time my students have learned and enjoy the creativity center in our classroom, they are free to go there, explore and create. Now my students are confident, and like to show their creations to their peers and family. Your contribution has fostered creativity, reassurance, and pride in their accomplishments.”

• Collaborative Construction

  I am very grateful for your generous donation towards my students, they love their new materials and embrace using each one as they embark in their new learning adventure. My Pre-K students are learning spatial sense and positional words.

  Our little ones are enhancing their school experience by learning about one another, taking turns and sharing, they learn self controll and exchanging ideas. Thanks to donors like you my students will be able to better interact and learn together in the future.”

• Future Engineers Today

  Funded Feb 22, 2024

  I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards your kind generosity in donating towards my project Future Engineers Today. My students were very excited when the saw the materials and went right to work. They began drawing (making a plan) and building structures.

  The worked together and collaborated with one another by expressing their unique ideas and adding various materials to make their models more realistic as they connected their project to real like experiences as they added community workers and vehicles.

• Stepping Into Literature

  My students and I can't express how much enjoyment they feel while interacting in our morning circle. Thanks to thoughtfulness my students are able to interact, learn and enjoy the activities through literacy, using the flip chart, as they stepping into their world of learning.

  When my students select their books, they enjoy sharing the illustrations with one another. My students also enjoy taking turns as the use the stepping stones and help each other as they try to maintain their balance. I truly want to thank you for your generosity.”

• My World

  Funded May 4, 2022

  My students and I thank you for your kind gesture in donating mouse pads, computer mice, wireless keyboard and mouse. Thanks to your support my students have been practicing their mouse skills, for our state assessment and educational software. When they received their mouse they quickly began using it and asked for help when needed. They would smile when they accomplished to move the mouse and click to get the quick response from the software. The students would say, "teacher look I did it see!" that sense of accomplishment is extremely rewarding.”
