  • "Double Vision: Enhancing Collaboration with Dual Monitors"

    Funded Sep 4, 2024

Here's a rewritten version that aims to sound more like a teacher:

"Thanks to your generous gift, my students have been able to collaborate on class lessons, activities, and projects. The new large screen has changed the way they are able to learn.

They don't have to crowd around a tiny screen, straining their eyes and missing crucial details. Now, they can gather around the 34" monitor and can see diagrams, charts, pictures, and more. This has made learning better and easier for them.

I am truly grateful for your generosity. Your gift has made a significant impact on my students' learning experience, empowering them to reach their full potential."”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jorgensen

  • Unleash Creative Spark

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

Video projects have been super important to me because they've helped me develop a lot of 21st century skills. Working on these projects means I get to use technology in ways that are really fun and creative. I've learned how to edit videos, use special effects, and even how to make animations. These skills are really cool because they're not just useful for school; I can see how they'd be important in the real world, too. Plus, it's exciting to see a finished video that I helped create, and it makes me proud of what I can do.

Teamwork has been a big part of why I enjoy video projects. When we work on a project, everyone has a role to play, and we have to communicate and collaborate to get everything done. I've learned how to listen to other people's ideas and give my own input, which has made me better at working in a group. It's also made me more outgoing because I have to interact with my classmates more than I usually would. Presenting our videos to the class has helped me get over my shyness, and now I feel more comfortable speaking in front of others. Overall, video projects have helped me grow in a lot of ways and made school more enjoyable.”

  • Sending Messages of Happiness and Joy All Around

    Funded May 9, 2023

The Cricut has been a total game-changer when it comes to spreading messages of positivity and making a big impact on people's lives. It's like this super cool crafting tool that lets you create all sorts of amazing stuff. I've used it to make inspiring signs, uplifting cards, and all kinds of crafts that share positive messages with the world. It's like a way to turn your ideas into real, tangible things, and then share them with others. The best part is, people really respond to these creations, and it brightens their day. It's like a ripple effect of happiness and good vibes!

I've seen how the Cricut can turn a bad day into a better one. When you give someone a handmade card or a beautifully crafted message of encouragement, it can really lift their spirits. And it's not just about making stuff; it's about making connections and brightening someone's day. So, the Cricut isn't just a craft machine; it's a positivity-spreading machine that brings people closer and fills the world with smiles and good feelings. It's pretty amazing!”

  • Immersion in learning

    Funded May 9, 2023

Headphones have been a total game-changer in making learning super awesome! Before, it was tough to concentrate when there was noise all around, like people talking or music playing. But with my headphones, I can create my own little study bubble. Whether I'm watching educational videos or listening to online lessons, I can hear everything crystal clear, and it's like the world disappears around me. It's helped me focus so much better.

And you know what? Headphones make learning more fun too! When I put them on, it's like I'm in my own world, and I can dive into all sorts of cool subjects without any distractions. It's like a magic tool that turns any place into a classroom. I don't miss out on any details, and I can replay stuff if I didn't get it the first time. So, yeah, headphones have made learning way easier and way more fun. They're like my secret weapon for acing school!”

  • Amplifying the Voices of Tomorrow's Leaders Today

    Funded May 14, 2023

Podcasting has totally changed my life and my voice! Before, I used to be kinda shy and not so confident when I spoke up in class or with friends. But now, thanks to listening to podcasts and even making a few of my own, I've become a way better communicator. I've learned how to express my thoughts and ideas clearly, and it's like my voice has gotten stronger. I'm not as nervous speaking in front of people, and I can actually keep a conversation going without feeling all awkward.

Plus, podcasting has opened up a whole new world for me. I've found shows about everything I'm interested in, from science to sports to storytelling. It's like having a library of knowledge and stories right in my pocket. I can listen on the bus, while doing homework, or even before bed. So, podcasting has not only boosted my confidence and speaking skills, but it's made learning and exploring so much more fun and accessible. It's like having a superpower for my voice and my mind!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jorgensen

  • To See Life's Events from the View of Different People

    Funded Feb 4, 2020

Thanks to your generous donations to this projects my students have been able to see people from their backgrounds shown in a positive way. They have also seen the positive effects that immigrants from their countries have had on the United States and in history in general. They were so happy to see these materials come to class so they can start to see history form a different side and immigrants from a different and positive light. I am forever grateful to the generosity of you all. I thank you and my students thank you as well.”

  • Seeing the Story Through Eyes of Others

    Funded May 15, 2019

It has been a amazing learning experience for my students. They have learned that there are two sides to every story, that they can learn from the experiences of other as well develop empathy for people. They have also found out that there are more people who care about them and thier education than just the teacher in front of them.
