  • Flight of the Drones

    I am thrilled to share the exciting news that our project is fully funded! Thanks to your generosity and belief in our classroom vision, over thirty fifth and sixth graders will soon begin their journey as virtual drone pilots.

    Working with DonorsChoose has been both inspiring and heartwarming. The support from friends, family, and donors like you has made a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful. I cannot wait to unbox the drones and see my students light up with curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for learning.

  • Escape Our Math-Based Adventure Room!

    Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom and school! In our math classroom students have an opportunity to share their ideas for math class at a weekly meeting. It was at this meeting that students helped me to develop the idea of designing our very own math "escape room". That group had no idea I wrote this grant for materials for an escape room that was greater than a digital one online. However, once they saw that I submitted a grant proposal, and learned that it was fulfilled, they were bubbling with excitement... and even better, ideas!

    I can't thank you enough for your generosity, however, I do know that hearing from our students may be a great way to "spread the love". Here is what my math leadership group had to say:

    Thank you for giving us all this stuff; we really appreciate it. The supplies you are giving us will help us to create our very own adventure/escape room. Creating our own adventure room means that we learn while having fun! How can you go wrong with that?!!!! ”
