  • See Yourself in All You Do! Diversity is a Must!

    Funded Dec 16, 2020

I cannot thank you enough for the amazing materials that you provided! My students were so excited to see the chairs, books, figures, and art supplies when we returned for in person learning and have loved using the materials since then.

This has been an extremely challenging year for students, parents, and teachers. We spent the first 2/3 of the year with online learning and then have been doing hybrid learning for the rest of the school year. Since returning, I have been teaching a hybrid model simultaneously with students online and in person 4 days a week and online one day a week with synchronous and asynchronous learning for that day.

Your donations and kind words have made a huge impact on me and my students. I am very thankful for your support and look forward to finishing this year with my hard working, flexible, and amazing class!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Stewart

  • Making Music with Kindergartners in School at Home

    Funded Aug 7, 2020

Thank you so much for funding "Making Music with Kindergartners in School at Home!" Being able to loan each child a ukulele for home use was amazing! My students were so excited and loved choosing what color ukulele that they wanted.

We have begun playing in open tuning and learning how to strum, how to find the steady beat, and playing simple songs like "Row, Row, Row Your Boat." The students are loving playing the ukulele and playing them has brought such joy to our class during zoom sessions.

I feel so fortunate that you chose to support my students and I. I cannot thank you enough!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Stewart

  • Let's Get STEAM Activities in Kindergarten!

    Funded Oct 19, 2019

Thank you for supporting Let's Get STEAM Activities in Kindergarten! My students are loving the fun and engaging STEAM activities that you helped provide!

Our new activities allow students to develop questioning, problem solving, and creative thinking as they learn! The STEM Early Learning Kits allow the children solve problems as they play and explore using the items provided. The I Can Build It! Architecture Set, Blocks and Blueprints Learning Centers, and Design and Build Engineering centers are allowing students to build in exciting new ways as they design houses, bridges, cars, and more. The Fairy Tale Problem Solving STEM Kits tie in with our literacy black and allow for continuous learning throughout the day.

All the items are being used in multiple ways thought different parts of the day. They are used whole group, small group, and individually and they are often the first items pulled out during free exploration. The hands-on items that you helped provide have enhanced my students learning in a fun and engaging way. I cannot thank you enough!”

  • Bounce, Bounce! Hop, Hop! Kindergarten Outdoor Fun!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you for generously donating to "Bounce, Bounce! Hop, Hop! Kindergarten Outdoor Fun!" The students are using the basketball stand, balls, trampoline, and hop balls all the time and are so excited to use them when we are outside!

When the items began arriving, the students couldn't wait to open the boxes and get out the materials. The balls, trampoline, and hop balls were the first items to arrive and I was able to use these with last years class. The basketball stand did not arrive until into this school year and due to missing parts, was just recently able to be used. It is now used on a daily basis and the students are loving it!

Thank you again for supporting my students and my classroom! Your support means the world to me!”

  • Cooking Up Recess Fun!

    Funded Feb 1, 2018

Thank you for supporting our project "Cooking Up Recess Fun!" My students were so excited to receive the materials and couldn't wait to begin using them! We are a very active class and having more choices for recess makes it more fun and allows students to spread out during this time.

Every day the kitchen, food, table, chairs, and dolls are being used and played with. The students are so excited to "make" different meals and serve the food to each other. They "wash" the dishes and take phone calls on the cordless phone. It is so cute and funny watching them.

Thank you again for donating to our project! I have a wonderful group of students and I want them to have every opportunity to learn and have fun! Your contribution helped make this possible.”

  • Laptops for Learning in Kindergarten!

    Funded Nov 1, 2017

Thank you of donating to "Laptops for Learning in Kindergarten!" My students are loving using the computers during literacy experiences and free choice! They are learning to use the keyboard and mouse as they use programs to reinforce what we are learning in the classroom.

My students are reading books at their reading level using Raz-kids, practicing their letters and sounds on Starfall, and playing games on PBSkids. This is so exciting to them and they choose to use computers when ever they can.

Thank you for supporting my students and providing them with an incredible resource. My heart is so happy!”

  • I Play, You Play, We All Play Ukuleles!

    Funded Nov 3, 2017

Thank you for your donations to "I Play, You Play, We All Play Ukuleles!" My students were so excited about to see our new ukuleles and now my students ask to use them ALL the time! We are learning how to strum and are beginning to play pass the uke.

My students are so attentive during music time and love to play. Half the class plays the ukuleles while the other half sings. Then we switch so that all students have a chance to play.

By contributing to my classroom, you are allowing me to help my students become life long learners and appreciate music education. You are making such an impact on them and I am so thankful!”

Thank you so much for your generous donations that funded "Science is a Must!" ! My class loved all the new and exciting classroom activities and books which allowed them to participate in inquiry based learning through the use of hands-on science.

It is hard to tell which was their favorite. The kids loved the bubbles, instant science trays, learn to recycle activity kit, real bugs kit, from seed to plant specimens, learn to brush you large teeth and toothbrush, and the books. Each item added additional activities and support for what we were learning about.
