My early childhood special education classroom just moved to a new building! We are so fortunate to have a small space to use as a motor room to work on gross motor goals and objectives. In order for my students to feel confident in building their skills, they need softer flooring, developmentally appropriate equipment, sensory tools and an atmosphere that is calming. The donations for this project will help to create an environment in which my early childhood special education students can easily, safely and confidently strengthen their gross motor skills. The floor tiles will give a softer material for jumping and climbing. The ball pit balls and the trampolines will give my students an opportunity for a sensory break throughout the day and the light shades will provide a relaxing atmosphere.
