Girls Middle School Basketball Materials
Funded Oct 23, 2024Thank you so much for the incredible donation of girl's basketball equipment. The students love the basketballs and get great use of them daily at practice here in our Middle School. The red and yellow pinny vests were very much appreciated in allowing us to practice playing in a game like setting.
What I loved the most was hearing the girls excitement over getting new balls to use during warm ups and practice. They shared how well made the ball cart was and appreciated the "grippy" basketballs to use.
The equipment was vital in our journey to increase our skills for basketball. Students had a chance to use appropriate game materials, including the beautiful leather official game ball, to strengthen their skills. We even incorporated a weekly acknowledgement of "Most Improved Player" and "Tough As Nails Player" to allow each student to shine to their peers! Thank you once again for the generous donation!”

Funded Aug 10, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity. Students are loving the metal water bottles and earth friendly stickers. Even coaches are inquiring as to where we attained them. Of course I told them "Donor's Choose"!
The turtle puzzle is an especially frequented item in the library/media center. Students seem to love the organization and relaxation it allows to have them engage with peers on a shared work. Puzzles to the rescue! In addition, the books about climate change also created a few conversations in our library, reminding students how important our world is.
We are looking forward to continuing to utilize these materials throughout the day as we move into the new year. The students will also be utilizing these materials greatly as a way to explore the calm of the library during the testing day and collaborate with friends during a quiet moment. (One of my favorite experiences is watching the same students revisit the earth friendly puzzles that we have.) Thank you again for your donations~ they mean a great deal to our students.”

Funded Apr 16, 2024Thank you so much for your generosity. Students are loving the new chess sets and puzzles and these are a frequented item in the library/media center. They were very surprised to see the library transform with your donations. Some students even shared that they have never been in the library, but decided to stop by due to the changes they heard from their friends. They were also very excited to see a section dedicated to hands-on materials and grateful for the section dedicated to art and creativity.
We are looking forward to utilizing these materials throughout the school year as we move into holiday activities. The students will also be utilizing these materials greatly as we begin testing, for the mind break activities will be a welcome pleasure for them.
My favorite moment was when the new sixth grade students stopped in to see the library and commented on how they love that we incorporated nature into the room with all of the wood items and plants. Thank you again for your donations~ they mean a great deal to our students.”
