My students come from an ethnically diverse population in a large metropolitan area of Minnesota. Most of my students live in poverty and come from homes where English is a second language and mobility is common. For many, academic success can be a struggle. With the dedication of school staff, support of our parents, and lots of hard work by our students, success is achieved and even surpassed by many students. Our school staff is very dedicated to "OUR" children, often going above what's adequate to make sure their needs are met. We have a supportive, safe, community-focused atmosphere where students feel that they belong.
