Nuts and Bolts Needed!
Funded Apr 19, 2020This helped my classroom so much during such an unpredictable time. The plastic folders, for take-home folders, were great as they could be wiped down and cleaned. The cable organizers kept all cords and chargers neat accessible, but out of the way. Laminator sheets are always needed to provide durable and adapted materials, visual supports, and activities in the classroom. The students loved having their own stylus' to use on their devices with made writing easier and more similar to writing with pencils.”

You're in My Space!
Funded Mar 11, 2019Thanks to you my students are surrounded by non-verbal cues. They are able to self-initiate redirection without teacher intervention. The floor mats provide concrete areas for our classroom center locations. This is wonderful because no matter who is in my classroom everyone is aware of where each center is and where students should we working. The doorbell is a welcome change from my bike bell, as it is easily hidden and much easier to use and recognize.
The first time my students saw the various floor coverings and colors they were so excited. They ran around the room stating which center they were in by the color their feet were touching. They are much less anxious and take ownership over independent tasks now.
I would like to continue color-coding my classroom and centers to help facilitate student independence. Thank you again for your continued support of me as an educator, and of my students.”

Begging For Letter Bubbles!
Funded Mar 27, 2018This iPad has made a huge impact in my classroom. It has given me a highly motivating and low prep way for my students to practice various classroom skills independently. Many of the options and programs my students need to complete on a daily basis on the computer also have corresponding apps. These programs are difficult for my students and a point of frustration for them. Allowing them to complete on the iPad takes the fight out of it and makes it fun.
The most exciting thing is watching my students beg to complete educational assignments and tasks that they routinely refuse to complete.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Humphreys
