Tech Savvy Teens Need Technology

Thank you so much for funding this Chromebook project. The addition of these Chromebooks has increased the opportunity to play educational games like Kahoot, and has given students the opportunity to do group research projects.

The students are excited that they can jump right into an assignment without having to pause class to walk to the computer lab. They are also excited to be able to research and read news articles and websites without having to depend on a cell phone's small screen.

I have seen keen interest in my Honors Civics class, when students had to research information about interest groups like MADD and the ACLU to prepare for a simulation of a Senate Hearing. They were so engaged, an so excited to be able to access websites and articles that supported their organizations argument.
