  • Collaborating Scholars Striving for Honors

    Funded Jul 9, 2022

The day the box finally arrived; my students were excited to see what would replace our old table. With the help of one of my colleagues, I was able to assemble the table during lunch and technology prep. When my class returned from technology, they couldn't wait to be the first to test out the new dry-erase kidney table.

Our new dry-erase kidney table has been a GREAT addition to our classroom because it has allowed my students to check their understanding during small group instruction instantaneously. They can also "show what they know," and I can immediately reinforce or correct their answers up close.

As my students become more willing to show their work or thinking using the dry-erase table, I hope that it will promote the sharing and discussion of each other's ideas and empower visible thinking.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Sparrow Patton
