  • Please Help us Tune in to Learning

    Funded Aug 13, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations and support of students and teachers in high poverty schools. Our students are now tuning in to learning with the headphones that they received. They are able to use them at home and in school.

With humble gratitude, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!! You have no idea what a difference these supplies have made and are making in my classroom. Your altruism is greatly appreciated not only from myself but also my students and fellow teachers I work and share supplies with.”

    With gratitude,

  • Achoo! Oh My!

    Funded Jul 6, 2021

Thank you so much for your donations and support of students and teachers in high poverty schools. G.K. Chesterton said, "I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder." This quote applies to all of you and how your donations have benefited my students and me.

With humble gratitude, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!! You have no idea what a difference these supplies have made and are making in my classroom. Your altruism is greatly appreciated not only from myself but also my students and fellow teachers I work and share supplies with.”

  • Mask Onward!

    Funded Dec 7, 2020

We are so thankful for your continued support of students and teachers. As you can see in the pictures, the students are wearing the masks that they have received. Hopefully, I will be able to give at least 2 masks to each students who are attending school via the blended model.

It is very essential that students have reusable masks that they can wash and wear outside of their home. Parents are able to save money, and not worry about buying disposable masks. These mask fit the face of students securely, unlike some of the disposable masks that they have been wearing.

Again, thank you for your altruism and Happy New Year.”

  • Germs, Be Gone!

    Funded Nov 13, 2020

Thank you so much for your support. You should have seen how excited the students were when I told them that they will be receiving masks, hand sanitizer, facial tissue and hand towels because of a project that was made possible because of your donations!

The students have already started wearing their mask to school daily! This has made a huge difference in class. Often students come to school wearing adult masks and now they have masks that cover their face securely.

Again, thank you for your generosity and kindness.”

  • Would Be Glad for iPads

    Funded Apr 29, 2020

Thank you so much for funding the iPads. We appreciate your great generosity. You have made the impossible, possible.

Having iPads available to my students have helped to enhance personalized learning, and prepare students for assessments. Additionally, iPads are user-friendly for students with certain disabilities, provided opportunities for students to be able to work and excel at their own level and pace. The iPads are being used to improve and raise the academic learning level of students.

Again, thank you for your altruism.”

  • Please Help Students & Families During Distance Learning

    Funded Jun 29, 2020

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for making this possible. I am thrilled to learn that this Donors Choose Project was fully funded. I couldn't wait to share it with the students and their families. I am deeply appreciative of your support and generosity.

These items will allow my students the opportunity to develop their academic skills over the summer in preparation for next school year. Additionally, they will be provided with food and snacks. I was a child of poverty so I know that it is very difficult to learn on empty stomach.

Thank you again for your generosity and support”

  • Helping Students During Distance Learning III

    Funded May 28, 2020

Thank you so much! My students and their families appreciate all the help/support that they receive, no matter how small. The coronavirus has impacted many of their lives for the worse. Many of my students are already living below the poverty line, and now do not have the continuous support that they usually receive when they were in school and learning.

My students need the learning materials and the snacks to help them learn. The workbooks will help students to practice their ELA and math skills. Students having snacks available to them at home will influence their learning. Remember, we pay more attention to how hungry we are, and not about the lesson we are learning.

    Once again, thank you!”

  • Helping Students During Distance Learning

    Funded May 19, 2020

I was so excited to receive the email informing me that this project was fully funded! Thank you for your generosity during our time of great need.

Families everywhere have been impacted by the Coronavirus outbreak. My students and families need as much help as they can get. They are thankful for whatever help that they receive, no matter how small. These items will be helping students and families that live in one of the poorest congressional districts in the USA. They were already lacking so much and now it is even worse.

Thank you for your altruism. Without your consistent support, students, families, and teachers would go without many essential materials.”

My 6th grade ELA students live in one of the poorest congressional district in the United States. They attend a public school in New York where 98% of them receive free lunch. Due to budget cuts and lack of funding, my students have to do without some of the basic things that should be in a classroom . Your altruism is appreciated. Thank you for supporting students and their learning. Your donations will definitely impact the lives of my students in a positive manner.
