  • Think Like an Engineer

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

We are so incredibly grateful for your support in helping to fund this project. My students LOVE building and creating. We use these materials often in our math and science stations as well as during our indoor recess. They are "playing" and having fun, but are also learning such important STEM skills.

My students were so thrilled to open the boxes and find these resources. They were so touched that people who had never met them helped get these resources for them. I cannot even articulate how excited they were.

We truly appreciate your generosity and kindess. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Trayers

  • Mini Masterpieces

    Funded Aug 21, 2022

I cannot even articulate how grateful we are for the amazing art resources. It has allowed us to create wonderful projects and given students a different way to apply what they are learning. Students have made beautiful masterpieces using the paper and paints you provided for us.

You should have seen their eyes light up with the arrival of those boxes. They couldn't believe strangers cared about them enough to supply them with what they needed. What a great example of kindness and generosity you set for them.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you! Thank you!”

  • Historical Wax Museum

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

We are so incredibly grateful for the generous donations you made to our Wax Museum Project. The students dressed up like people who have made a difference in helping the environment-Julia Butterfly Hill, George Washington Carver, Ladybird Johnson, Jane Goodall. They made backdrops and wrote a short speech about the impact their assigned person had on the world. We set up their projects like a "museum" around the library and when someone stepped on their ON button, they came to life and said their speech. It was a huge hit!

My class last year often asked if we know our environment needs help, why aren't we doing anything to help it. I wanted them to know there were people who were helping. They learned so much about how to do research and used creativity to create their backdrops. They got practice early on about how to speak publicly.

Because of your kindness, my students got a learning experience we would otherwise not have been able to do. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your donation. We are truly grateful.”

  • Super Duper Supplies

    Funded Dec 15, 2021

We are so genuinely grateful for your help in bringing our project to life!

These past two years have been challening for our students and your donation helped us receive resources we desperately needed-it made my students so happy! We use the partitions and dry erase boards every single day. It has helped the students be able to be engaged in their learning.

Your generosity is such a great example for my students. They couldn't believe people who they never met cared about them and wanted to help them be successful.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!”

  • 1st Grade Readers

    Funded Nov 11, 2021

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generous donation to our project. Because of the pandemic, my students faced gaps in their learning. This year we have been working so hard to get them caught up and your donation gave us vital resources we need to complete that endeavor.

Every day the students work in workstations to practice their reading skills while I pull students to work on intervention activities. They get bored easily with the same activities day after day. Thank you for these engaging and fun games the students can use to help improve their reading skills.

    We are eternally grateful!”

  • Creativity Counts

    Funded Aug 25, 2021

I am truly grateful for your generous donations that brought our project to life. Art is being systematically removed from our curriculum and being replaced with test prep-my students deserve more. We use the art supplies to create projects like self-portraits and backdrops for presentations.

The students were so excited when the boxes arrived! They couldn't believe someone they didn't even know helped them get the resources they needed.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! What a great example of kindness.”

  • Math Workstations for 2nd

    Funded Apr 28, 2021

We are so incredibly appreciative for your generous donations to our project. The kids were so excited to open those boxes-"are these for us?" they asked. They wanted to play the games right away. We have used them every day since.

Because of your donation we are able to review very important basic math skills. In the early grades our job is to lay the foundation for objectives like place value and money. These are challenging things for our young kiddos to learn. Sometimes they get frustrated and begin to hate math. With these games you helped us make math fun again.

We are truly grateful for your kindness.”

  • Buy the Book

    Funded Apr 6, 2021

We are so incredibly grateful for your assistance in bringing our project to life. The students are beyond excited to start their graphic novel club in the Fall and are already requesting to check out titles. Not to mention encouraging our reluctant readers to read more as well as giving our ESL students books with lots of visuals to help them understand.

We have some very exciting titles-some that are funny and some that are about meaningful themes. It was so nice of you to give back in this way. What a great example of kindness for our students.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

  • Mighty Mathematicians

    Funded Feb 26, 2021

We are so incredibly grateful for these resources. This has been a challenging year and my students were so excited to have new games to practice their math skills on. They use these activities during their workstations every day and I have already seen improvement in their skills.

When the boxes arrived the students jumped up and down they were so excited. They begged to play with them right away. They couldn't believe people they didn't even know were that generous and kind. What a great example for them! My students are growing up in an area of low economic development and do not have access to resources like this at home.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

  • We Need Technology!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

With everything going on in the world, education strategy has been turned on its ear. Much of what we do also has to be accessible using technology tools. Every day my students play educational games, take assessments and apply their learning using tech tools. This laptop has helped us immensely! Students can complete their work easily and have even taken up skills like coding because of that access.

We are truly grateful for your generosity and kindness. It is a resource that is used in our class every single day and has made a very stressful school year a little less stressful for everyone.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

One day my student asked me a question and I answered "well,l when I'm at work...." and she interrupted me and said you work???" I don't see teaching as a "job" and I'm glad my students have that same vision. Our students are curious, bright, precocious Kindergarteners. They come to school every day with a smile on their face ready to learn. We teach them reading, math and the basics as well as empathy, citizenship and social skills. I want to ensure that my students have everything they need to be successful.
