Math literature is one of the quickest ways to ensure math access for all. Equity is very important in my district, but more importantly in my classroom. These books introduce the language of math in a non-threatening and accessible way. Math literature is so much more engaging now, too! My students have enjoyed many of these books as read aloud on YouTube. They will be so excited to hold these books and turn the pages themselves! Math literature is the perfect blend of math and reading and creates story problems (that scare so many) naturally and often in a fun way!
