Thank you so much for your donation. You have no idea what it means to have physical books in class, specially in the target language which is Spanish. My students were so happy to receive the box and help organize the books.

Students read 1/3 of the book so far and were hooked! It is an amazing book that all of my students can relate to. As part of a project, students had to pick a scene that was impactful to them and use it to recreate the book cover. Along with the drawing they wrote two paragraphs describing the scene, why they picked it and how this issue or situation shows up in the Latinx community. The projects were so amazing!”
