Our class does group Mindfulness throughout each school day. Sometimes it is led by children and other times it is teacher led. The children really understand how doing a bit of mindfulness can help us focus and reset our intentions. Our class would benefit from having some yoga and mindfulness resources! Yoga mats, and some yoga cards and yoga books could allow children to have some quiet time to focus themselves and breathe. Having resources available for the children to choose a yoga work will benefit the child and the entire classroom. With mats, cards, and books the children will learn valuable skills that they can in turn use anywhere and at anytime! We also have a diffuser that sends a pleasant scent into our classroom. Our favorite scent is Clary Sage. Plants are an important part of our classroom and help us learn about the natural world and we would like a lovely greenhouse as an addition to our plant collection. Inviting nature into our classroom helps us enjoy our work and our day. We will also use the greenhouse to grow micro greens and seeds that we have in our lunches!
