Flexible Seating
Funded Jan 24, 2025I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our classroom project. Thanks to your kindness, my students now have access to flexible seating and fun, spinny chair options that make our learning environment more engaging and comfortable.
The excitement on their faces when they saw their new seating choices was absolutely priceless! These additions have already made a huge difference—helping students focus, stay engaged, and feel more at home in our classroom.
Your generosity is truly making an impact, and we are so grateful for your support. Thank you for believing in our students and helping to create a space where they can learn and thrive!”

Bringing History to Life: Exploring the Stories of Historical Figures
Funded Jan 18, 2025Thanks to your generous support, our students have been diving into Who Was? and Who Is? books with enthusiasm and curiosity! These engaging biographies have introduced them to influential historical figures, scientists, artists, and change-makers, helping to build their reading comprehension, critical thinking, and research skills.
In our classroom, reading has become an adventure. Students eagerly select books, discuss key takeaways with their peers, and gather insights from their reading. These books have sparked curiosity and encouraged deeper discussions about history, perseverance, and leadership.
One student, who previously struggled to find books that interested him, has become captivated by Who Was Nikola Tesla? and now eagerly participates in class discussions about inventors and innovation. Another student, inspired by Who Was Harriet Tubman?, shared how the book helped her understand the importance of courage and resilience.
Your support has truly made a difference, fostering a love of reading and learning in our classroom. Thank you for helping us bring these inspiring stories to life!”

Interactive Novel Study
Funded Jan 15, 2025Thank you so much for your generous donation of Hate That Cat. Your support has made a remarkable difference in our classroom!
This project has provided my students with a fresh and engaging way to connect with literature. Through Hate That Cat, we've explored key reading and writing skills, such as interpreting figurative language, identifying themes, and analyzing poetic forms. The book's unique style has also introduced my students to the power of creative expression through poetry, sparking new ways of thinking and writing.
In our classroom, reading is a dynamic experience. Students not only read silently but also participate in lively discussions, share their interpretations, and even write their own poems inspired by the text. Hate That Cat has been a perfect springboard for these activities, encouraging both reluctant and enthusiastic readers to find their voices.
One student, in particular, has blossomed because of this project. This student initially found poetry intimidating, but after reading Hate That Cat, they've started writing their own heartfelt poems—sharing them proudly with the class! Stories like this show how transformative books can be when students are given the opportunity to connect with them deeply.
Thank you again for your kindness and support. You are helping to create lifelong readers and writers in our classroom, and we are so grateful for your generosity.”
