Vamp Up My Virtual Learning
Funded Sep 16, 2020Thank you so much for your contributions to this project! With Virtual Learning it has create a situation where the majority of my work and assignments need to be digital. While my tech skills have vastly improved since March being able to purchase amazing premade activities on Teachers Pay Teachers has been amazing! I am able to find high quality materials to meet the vast needs of my students. I have already used some of the purchase to buy leveled readers to help meet the needs of my readers. I have also used this to purchase logic and probelm solving materials for my students in need of a challenge in math. I look forward to being able to get many more materials through out the year to help jazz up our virtual learning! Thank you again for you generous donations!!”

Funded Sep 6, 2020Thank you so much for your contributions to this project! I am now able to use the Apple Pencil with my ipad during our Zoom lessons. It makes teaching everything so much faster and efficient! In Writing, I am able to write in real time and have it appear on the screen. I can also highlight text or change text colors for emphasis. In Math, I am able to use the Apple Pen in our Jamboards. This enables me to write equations and record the student's thinking without having to struggle to write with my mouse. This has been invaluable with my virtual learning and I am sure it will be just as handy once we are able to get back into the classroom! Thank you so much for you generosity!”

Can You Hear Me Now?
Funded May 15, 2020I am so grateful for your donations for my classroom's Qball mic! This will especially come in handy when we are back in the classroom with social distancing measures in effect. I feel it is so important as an educator that I allow all voices to be heard with your generous donations you have made that possible.
Not only will my shy students be able to project their voices with the help of this microphone but I truly believe it will make speaking out loud less of a chore. Making it fun to speak into a tossable microphone will encourage participation and boost the confidence of those who voices before may have not been heard. I greatly appreciate your generous contributions to my class project!”

Wanted: A Good Chromebook!
Funded Dec 9, 2019Thank you so much for your generous donations!! My students were so excited to now each have their own device to use. This especially comes in handy when we are doing individualized practice activities or google classroom activities! Prior to this project being funded I had chromebooks for all but 6 students. Those 6 students had to share or take turns. Those students were so excited to hear they would not need to share devices anymore! Their faces lit up when they got to use a device all to themselves! Words truly can't express how grateful I am for your donations!! Thank you so much!”

Funded May 14, 2019Thank you so much for your generosity! My students loved getting a chance to build high frequency words using them! We also enjoyed using them to practice breaking words into syllables. They will be an essential part of my Guided Reading Lessons.
My students were super excited to receive the letters! The first thing they wanted to do was make their names. They didn't want to stop working when I told them it was time to clean up. The letters and boards were a total hit!
I am already planning how to use them next year throughout my Language Arts Program. They will help teachers asterisk skills like phonics, syllabication, and provide a fun way to practice spelling! These letters will provide a fun way to review essential foundational skills! Thank you so much for your generosity.”

Funded May 4, 2018Thank you so much for your generous contributions! My students were so excited to receive these Chromebooks! We have already begun to use them as an integral part of our language arts and math rotations. Technology is motivating and helps me to differentiate for the needs of all my students. We use programs to extend and engage learning in all academic areas! My students especially love the websites Google Classroom, Prodigy, and Get Epic and are now able to access them more often!
Some of my students have never used a Chromebook before. They are faster and run require far less trouble shooting than our ancient dinosaur computers in the room. The students especially love that they have their own account on the Chromebooks and once signed in they can take them to any workspace in the classroom.
It is amazing how techie my students have become. They are not only enriching their own learning but using Google Classroom they are now excited about editing and revising each other's works. Several of my more capable students love the opportunity to comment and make helpful suggestions on other students work. They are reinforcing the skills they have learned, helping others, and most importantly having fun while learning! I cannot thank you enough for your generosity!”

iPad for Professional Development
Funded May 25, 2015Thank you so much for your donation for the IPad for my classroom! This iPad has been a wonderful addition to my room this year. Not only has it come in handy for things like attendance, our dibels assessments, and our new TRC assessment but it also has the students more interested in learning. With my new Apple TV I am able to use the iPad to show students work, annotate texts for close reading lessons, and as an inspiration for classroom management with classroom dojo. It is so great to have this iPad to use in my classroom. Thank you so much for your generous contribution.
Sincerely,
