• Projecting our Learning

  Thank you for the generous donation toward our project. Our school was in need of new projectors in our classrooms, multipurpose room, and parent center. Our old projectors were purchased at least ten years ago and were starting to wear due to the everyday use. We will now be able to place a projector in key areas of the school without having to share them between rooms.

  One key benefit of having multiple new projectors will enable us to have one located in the multipurpose room where we conduct our assemblies and major events throughout the school year. One major event is our annual Leadership Day which requires the use of the projector to showcase our student talents such as a prerecorded speeches, student-created short films, and various slideshow presentations.

• Art, Sports, and More!

  Funded Nov 10, 2021

  Thank you very much for your donation toward our project, "Art, Sports, and More!" My students were super excited about the new basketballs and other sports equipment that arrived. With the availability of more equipment, we will be able to run drills and work in smaller groups without having to split time and share the basketballs.

  The arrival of the construction paper and ink for our printer arrived just in time for our holiday crafting activities and the kids were thrilled to see that they had options to use the unique colors that were requested through the project.

  On behalf of my students, I would like to take the time to thank all of you for your generous donation toward this project. The self-stick easel pads are perfect during whole group and small group lessons. It provides a great visual for the class as well as a resource for them to refer to when necessary.

  The classroom timer we received has been a great tool to help the students manage their time. The numbers are large enough for everyone to see and given that it is a digital timer, it helps them manage their time while working on classroom tasks.

• Basics Needed for the Classroom

  On behalf of my students, I would like to take the time to thank all of you for your generous donation toward this project. Given the nature of this pandemic we are in and the 100% return to school, we wanted to ensure that every child in our classroom had their own facial tissue box. We're so used to sharing that the items for this project helped my students feel more at ease by having their own tissue box. The extra dryerase markers for the class also gives them their own marker to use so that they can still participate in any whiteboard involved lessons.

• Basic Supplies for All

  On behalf of my students, I would like to take the time to thank all of you for your generous donation toward this project. My students were excited to receive mechanical pencils and the pencil lead refills. This was a great way to get their year started as many of them begin to prefer mechanical pencils as they become older. The classroom bulletin board decorations were a big help as I wanted to keep a uniform look throughout the classroom this year. The kids notice the clean and simple look throughout the room.

• Clean Air Is a Must!

  On behalf of my students, I would like to take the time to thank all of you for your generous donation toward this project. My students were fascinated to see the air filter in our classroom and were happy to know that we have something extra to help us stay healthy as we returned to school. This air filter will not only help with keeping our air cleaner, but it will help those of us who suffer from environmental allergies, especially dust in the classroom. • Health & Safety for Our Room!

  Thank you very much for your donation toward this project for our classrooms. As we reopened schools in April 2021, we had to take the necessary steps to ensure a safe reopening. We knew that if we did not practice proper health precautions, the chance of our school staying open during this past school year could have been slim.

  The clear and foldable sneeze guards were extremely beneficial to help remind our students the seriousness of staying safe. They quickly became accustomed to the presence of the sneeze guards and went about their day-to-day learning. We loved the fact that these are clear and we can still see and hear one another through this safety feature.

• Scientists in Nature

  Funded Dec 4, 2019

  I'd like to extend a very belated thank you to all of our donors on behalf of our students. Your donation provided them the opportunity to attend a weekend long science camp back in February 2020.

  The students had the opportunity to participate in multiple hiking activities throughout the weekend (even in the rain), make their own yo-yo, and learn about the bird and snakes housed in the camp nature center. Their free time and evening activities included basketball, ping pong, lessons about the night sky, and a seriously intense game of UNO.

  Most importantly, they were given the opportunity to get to know one another and develop a strong friendship outside of the normal classroom. They came back with memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you again for helping us make this trip possible.”
