My students are dying to have a Qball in our classroom. We borrowed one from a teacher friend and to see the disappointment when I said we had to give it back was so sad. A Qball Throwable Microphone would allow my students to have their voice heard through a fun and interactive approach. This product will empower my students to share their thinking, and enlighten others into their major takeaways from lessons. A soft Qball Throwable Microphone would allow my students to let their voices be heard, encouraging even the quietest student to participate in class discussions. With their excitement to share over the microphone students, engagement will increase even more. Classroom acoustics and layout can impact the ability for students to hear each other and build off of each others' conversations. Trying to get students to learn from each other requires that they can hear what they are saying. Not to mention those quiet talkers or those that are often shy to share. Everyone has something important to share. I want all students to be able to confidently share without their classmates saying, "I can't hear you..." I want to make public speaking something that should not be feared but embraced by my students and of course, QBall makes this a powerful experience.
