Our students are second graders in New York. They attend a charter school. My students are energetic and love to learn new things. We are at an urban school with a variety of abilities and economic levels. The students get excited when they are able to read and learn in different ways. During the school year, I empower my students to become independent thinkers. I want them to become responsible learners who see the value in their learning. I teach them to challenge their own thinking within the world around them.
